Parenting an Anxious Child

Posted On Monday November 08, 2021

Parenting an anxious child can be challenging.

Everyone experiences anxiety of varying degrees but for some elementary-aged children, anxiety can be overwhelming and an obstacle to enjoying kid activities like going to school, joining after school programs, having fun with friends, and trying new things.

In this one-and-a-half-hour session, SD73 Mental Health Clinicians will provide anxiety 101 information and some tools that can help at home. There will be opportunity to ask questions, as well as help navigating community resources for support.

Presented by Mental Health Clinicians Jocelyn Campbell and Jenna Ewert.

The workshop will be held via Zoom on Thursday, December 2 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. If you are interested in attending, you are asked to register here, and you will be provided with the link to the meeting.
