McQueen LakeA District gem is celebrating a major milestone this year.
Since its inception 50 years ago, the McQueen Lake Environmental Education Centre has been dedicated to providing residential and day programs in environmental education to children, parents, teachers, and the public. Budget The Kamloops-Thompson Board of Education approved the 2022-2023 Annual Budget of approximately $207 million at its Regular Public Board Meeting on Monday, April 25, 2022.

Westmount at 181% capacity The Ministry of Education has provided formal support for the Kamloops-Thompson School District to develop options for a new school in Batchelor Heights.
