Keeping everyone safe is our biggest priorityKeeping everyone safe in our schools is our biggest priority, and we are following strict health and safety measures outlined by the Provincial Health Officer and the Ministry of Education.

Hairstyling student Kara FloydEnrolment levels for some Trades and Transitions(TNT) programs are at historic highs this fall, and more students seem keen to experience hands-on learning, according to District Vice-Principal Rob Wielgoz. In a presentation to the Board of Education regular meeting on Oct. 5, Weilgoz said 105 students are registered in the Youth Work in Trades (YWIT) program, up from the previous high of 89. McQueen lake Forestry and Environmental Studies CampThere’s a great learning opportunity at McQueen Lake this fall for secondary students considering forestry or environment careers.
The Forestry and Environmental Studies Camp is planned for Oct. 15 at the McQueen Lake Environmental Education Centre.
