School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson)

School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson) provides public education to more than 14,500 students in Kamloops and many rural communities, including Chase, Barriere, Logan Lake, Westwold, Savona and Clearwater.  The majority of our district's residents live in Kamloops.

Our district covers more than 27,000 kilometres and busses about 4,000 students more than 9,000 kilometres every day. We have 32 elementary schools, one middle school, 10 secondary schools, one Kindergarten-to-Grade 12 school, two alternate education programs and one distance education school. 

We have averaged more than 14,000 students for the last several years. We employ nearly 2,000 people and have an annual budget of nearly $200 million.
