Program Support

As a Homestay Program, we work with agents, counsellors, parents, students and host families to answer questions and resolve any concerns quickly and efficiently. A homestay family orientation meeting will be offered to better assist families in preparing for a student.

Students will also be provided orientations at their school to provide them with school based information and contact information for their counsellor should they have any questions or concerns.

Hosting a student or being a guest is someone's home can take some getting used to. Please call or email us with any concerns or questions, we are here to assist you.

Respite is available in case of an emergency; contact the office to receive a list of contact information for respite families. You will be required to pay the family $35 per day (daily rate subject to change).

We encourage our homestay families to share with us any great moments with your student.

For the 2017-2018 school year, homestay families receive $800 per month to cover the cost of room, board, utilities and meals.
