Provincial Assessments

The Ministry of Educations exam page helps you:

  • Check exam schedules
  • Access sample exams
  • View your exam results

You will need your PEN (Personal Education Number) and an email address in order to view exam results.

Foundation Skills Assessments (FSAs)

The Foundation Skills Assessment is an annual province-wide assessment of all B.C. students’ academic skills in grades 4 and 7. For more information, visit the Ministry of Education website. You can also access sample assessments here.

Graduation Literacy and Numeracy Assessments

As part of the updated graduation requirements, students in the B.C. Graduation Program will have to complete three provincial assessments. They will focus on the demonstration and application of numeracy and literacy.

  • Graduation Numeracy Assessment – Grade 10 (graduation requirement)
  • Graduation Literacy Assessment – Grade 10 (graduation requirement)
  • Graduation Literacy Assessment – Grade 12 (graduation requirement)
