McQueen Lake Forestry and Environmental Camp: Oct 7^th - 8th, 2026

Interested students are invited to apply to participate in the Forestry and Environmental Studies Camp, a two-day camp for grades 10 - 12, hosted at the McQueen Lake Environmental Education Centre. Learning takes place in a forest and aquatic ecosystem system setting at the Centre.  Students learn about the diversity of various environments and the range of related employment opportunities. Students will learn more about the following subjects which could include: ecology, tree planting, fire management or mapping.  The camp takes place Oct 7th and 8th  from 8:30- to 4:30.  Please see the Sa-Hali Secondary website or Mrs. Douglas for an application.  The deadline for submitting applications to Mrs. Douglas is Sept 22, 2026
