First Day of School

All elementary and secondary classes will begin at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with the exception of Kindergarten students.

All elementary schools (rural and in-town) will dismiss students two hours earlier than the regularly scheduled time (12:34 pm for Savona). Secondary in-town schools will dismiss students at the regular scheduled time (3:00 pm), unless otherwise stated. If you have questions, please check with your school to confirm dismissal time.

Busing

On Tuesday, September 8, buses will pick up all students 2 hours later than normal for the 10:30 am start, and deliver elementary students home approximately 2 hours earlier than normal. Secondary students will be picked up from school at the normal time following the 3:00 pm dismissal.
