Criminal Records Check & Volunteer Driver Form 

Dufferin Elementary relies on Parent Volunteers in order to run and carry out our school Programs.

Parents who are wanting to support our programs here at Dufferin by volunteering to drive and/or support for field trips and sporting events and/or One to One Reading, etc will be required to have a Criminal Records Check (CRC) completed and submit a Parent Volunteer Drive Form.

Here is a guideline for doing so:

In order to file a Criminal Records Check, applicants will need to have an authenticated BC Services Card App on a mobile device.  

*The entire process is free and will take less than 10 minutes.

1) Download the free BC Services Card App via Google Play or Apple App Store.

2) Follow the simple process in the App - this is as easy as providing a mailing address, email address, and using the BC Services App to photograph your government I.D.

3) Wait up to 7 days for the applicant's identity to be confirmed - applications will be verified on the same day.  Once confirmed, the App is now active and can be used in the C.R.C.

4) Parents will need to use a school-specific code to initiate the Records Check.

5) Access the CRC website and follow the steps as required:

*The website will require applicants to have their confirmed BC Services Card App at hand.

6) Parent Volunteer Driver Form  PARENT VOLUNTEER DRIVER FORM *Each Driver is required to have completed this form (you receive additional coverage from the SBO)
