Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first online budget information session in March and to those who have already shared feedback as part of the 2026–2027 Budget Consultation process. We appreciate the time and thought you have taken to engage in setting priorities for the 2026-2027 budget.

As a reminder, the Kamloops‑Thompson Board of Education will be hosting our 2026–2027 Budget Preview online information session next week. We encourage all interested staff, partner groups, Rights Holders, stakeholders, parents, caregivers, students, and community members to join us to learn more about the budget priorities being considered for the upcoming school year.

• What to Expect: An overview of the 2026-2027 budget priorities that will go before the Board for initial approval on April 27, 2026, followed by information on how to provide further feedback.

Final approval of the budget is expected at a Special Public Board meeting on May 11, 2026.
