Parkcrest Elementary Students began their school year again at George Hilliard Elementary,  11 days after the loss of their school to fire. They were met with hugs, and a warm welcome from Parkcrest staff and Principal Catherine Gorman and Vice-Principal Grant Naylor. Part of their first-day assembly featured a Welcome Song from SD73 Aboriginal Education Workers.
