Our Kamloops-Thompson district community is growing at a fast pace, so we are in urgent need of new schools. As we continue this journey together in managing space constraints, advocating for new schools and other capital projects (e.g., sites for new schools, playgrounds), and opening or re-opening schools, learn what has happened and how you can get involved by clicking on current capital projects:

The key focus for the Kamloops-Thompson Board of Education is improving student achievement. The Board plays an essential role in the public education system by addressing the interests of students through local decision-making with an engaged community.
